Opening it on a Mac

This early release is not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to approve it the first time you open it.

1Open Agent Commons from Applications. When macOS says it can't verify the app, click Done.
2Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security.
3Scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to the Agent Commons message.
4Confirm with Open Anyway and your Mac password. You only do this once.

On macOS 14 or earlier you can also Control-click the app in Applications and choose Open.

More install notes

Windows: if SmartScreen says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.

Linux: make the AppImage executable with chmod +x, then run it.

If an older Mac download says the app is damaged, delete that file and download this version.

Local AI downloads a verified runtime and model on first use: about 1 GB on macOS and up to 4 GB on Windows or Linux.
